#30MealsAtHome - Day 1

We started the challenge today.  I went a little overboard on the food out of excitement. 

Pork and Chicken Barbecue
Steamed Red Snapper with Onions and Tomatoes

We served these with a side of sauteed summer squash and steamed brown rice. Like I said, I went a little overboard, but I wanted to celebrate the first day of the challenge.  My son was pretty happy with the barbecue.  The fish was for the adults.

For the barbecue, I used a Filipino style marinade available in all Asian markets. If you like a sweet, soy Asian style barbecue, give this a try.  I used the whole bottle for the amount of meat I had. 



So far so good!
