Inspiration Sunday

This prompt is yours to draw inspiration from. If you use it, and decide to post the resulting piece on your blog, or other online forum that hosts your writing, let me know in the comments section.  I'll make sure to drop by and share my thoughts.

  1. WOW. How much do I love this photo???

Btw, I heard you sent me something. My brother picked it up from our store but I haven't had the chance to see him yet. I'm guessing it's the postcard! Thank you so much! :)

  2. Thanks Sam! Yes, it is the postcard. Thanks for indulging me!

  3. There is so much emphasis on climbing "the ladder" here in the States: Corporate ladders, career ladders and all ladders promising success and prestige. Funny how so many people devote so much of their time on one of these ladders only to reach the top and realize they've been climbing the wrong wall, or shelves in this case, all that time. This picture reminds me that climbing the right bookshelf is more important than the efforts that go behind the act of climbing. It says not to be like those who reach the top shelf and find books with titles that leave them empty by not fueling their purpose in life. If we seek first what is our true purpose in life, we will find the meaningful books that harmonize with our inner genre. Great pic! I was inspired. Thank you:)

  4. Thanks Rex! I'm really happy that this picture impacted you that way it did. Thank you for the tweets too, today! Take care!

Thank you so much for your kind comments.
