Bernard Pivot Blogfest



A lot of folks I follow in the writerly, bloggerly world seems to be in on this today. So I say, “What the hey?”


Q: What is your favorite word?
A: Hello!

Q: What is your least favorite word?
A: Goodbye.

Q: What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
A: A thought, a word, or an image.

Q: What turns you off?
A: Complainers, whiners, accusers.

Q: What is your favorite curse word?
A: “T’ang Ina!” (It’s a Filipino curse word.)

Q: What sound or noise do you love?
A: Birds chirping.

Q: What sound or noise do you hate?
A: The screech of nails on a chalkboard.

Q: What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
A: Other than becoming a published author? Becoming a doula or a lactation consultant.

Q: What profession would you not like to do?
A: A Doctor.

Q: If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
A: Welcome home, my child.

I haven’t participated in one of these blogfests/memes in ages, and it felt good to do it. Thank you Nicole for hosting this. There’s still time to sign up and do it.

  2. So glad you signed up for the blogfest! I enjoyed your answers, especially the Filipino curse word. I don't know it, but isn't it funny how curse words just look naughty, no matter what language they're in? LOL
